iPad Laser engraving

You can laser engrave whatever you want on your iPad(s), we don’t limit you to any particular size, this is totally up to you. We can engrave some small text or an intricate pattern over the whole surface. (obviously avoiding the camera and apple logo!) Prices start from £45.00 + vat

Engraving text

If you would like to engrave your ipad with a short message, name or any other text snippets;

  • Download the iPad drawing template and draft the message and positioning in the font of your choice using your chosen CAD software.
  • Remember to outline you fonts / convert to paths
  • If you have no idea how to use vector editing software, Send us a Message and let us know what message you would like to write and the font size you would like to use . As a standard we use Arial. Also let us know where you would like the text positioned.
  • We will then send you back a PDF proof artwork for approval.

From an image

In all cases a vector files is the preferred format, but if you want to use an image to create the artwork (perhaps of a company a logo) please do the following:

  • Make sure it is at least 300dpi and black and white
  • Position the image within the template at the exact scale and position required.
  • If again, you aren’t familiar with the various drawing software, make sure you read our Drawing & Scanning service guidelines that contain advice on sourcing an image suitable for converting to vectors. Send us the image and let us know where you would like the text positioned.
  • We will then send you back a PDF proof artwork for approval.

Drafting vector artwork

Make sure all your vectors are 100% black

Graphics need to be positioned accordingly to fit the space but also allow for non engravable space, i.e apple logo, camera and serial number and remember to trim the artwork around these areas.

Alternatively. If you find some vector artwork online, that you would like to use to engrave. Send this over and we can draft the artwork on the iPad for you.

In this case also, we will then send you back a PDF proof artwork for approval.
