You can laser engrave many phones, laptops and other devices. We can engrave some small text or an intricate pattern over the surface. (obviously avoiding any camera lens and logos!) Prices start from £45.00 + vat
If you can’t use CAD software, don’t worry. Simply send us over what you would like to engrave and we can advise on the next step. Alternatively. If you find some vector artwork online. Send this over and we’ll draft the artwork for you.
Engraving text
To engrave your device a short message, name or any other text snippets;
- Draft the message in the font size / arrangement of your choice. Position this exactly where you want it engraved.
- Always Remember to outline your fonts / convert to paths This is to preserve the font, if you send it without doing this and you are using a font that we don’t have installed on our computer, it will open under a default font.
From an image
In all cases a vector file is the preferred format, but if you want to use an image to create the artwork (perhaps of a company a logo) please do the following:
- Make sure it is at least 300dpi and black & white
- Position the image within the iPad Laser engraving template at the exact scale and position required.
Drafting vector artwork
- Make sure all your vectors are 100% black & white
- Graphics need to be positioned accordingly to fit the space but also allow for non engravable space, i.e apple logo, camera and serial number (if applicable) and remember to trim the artwork around these areas.
