CLC first helped us with basic accurate stackable modelling which was invaluable in explaining volumes to clients and could be easily scaled up and recut at 1:25 for different sections of the building.
After we produced test images in CAD software, CutLaserCut then produced cuts of different materials that we could layer up to produce an accurate mock-up of the elevation. This enabled us to get a better feeling for how a façade would work in real space and daylight and was a reassuring and persuasive tool in helping us with the various stages of the build.
This resulted in building façade that won the 2018 Brick Award for innovation and was shortlisted for the 2019 Surface Design Awards.
